Sin Boldly

“If you ask me what I came into this world to do, I will tell you. I came to live out loud.”

Play On

I could count the nights spent sitting or laying at the feet of a beautiful boy with his hands wrapped tenderly around the neck of a guitar. Strumming and humming and singing through the night. Each night like this written tenderly into the soundtrack of my heart. I am left in a daze with a heartfelt gaze upon my face as the chords simply melt over me. the object of my affection has changed but the music continues to bring a sense of peace, contentedness, and warmth; although, now tinged with a note of nostalgia. Different floors and guitars and hands streaming along but my ears are surprised to hear some of the same songs, backed by a different voice, older and surer of himself, yet still seeking assurance. I will add this Texas night to the archive under acoustic and live.
